In preparation for the episode, the Nickerson PR and Nickerson RE teams developed a PR and social media strategy to promote the Chronicle feature across all channels to receive as much attention as possible for our client. In addition to social media strategy, the team also went to Sconset Landing to prepare the site for filming. In order to make Sconset Landing pop on camera, the team focused on providing expert staging, gathering accent pillows, furniture, and other accessories so the superior design of the unit would come across on camera. The team drew upon their in-house data and research along with the unique combined experience of both teams to provide up to date and well informed information that would be interesting to the Chronicle viewership.
Doing media appearances is no easy task! However, the more experience you have on camera, the better the result. Lucky for us, our CEO and founder, Lisa Nickerson, is media trained and knows how to give a great interview! Not only did Lisa go into filming well-prepared, but she spoke articulately, clearly, and gave incredible insight into the Boston real estate market. Sharon Viens, Director of Sales for Nickerson RE, also provided insight into the Hanover, MA and Sconset Landing community, educating viewers on what to expect when buying a home in the Greater Boston area, giving especially good advice to first time home buyers.
Being featured on Chronicle was on all-hands on deck affair, but was well worth it! The Nickerson team is grateful for the opportunity to have our client, Sconset Landing, and our team featured on such a prominent media outlet, and to be selected as experts in the industry. Here’s to many more media opportunities for our clients and the Nickerson team to be featured in the future. Cheers!
