Lisa Nickerson, recently recognized by Bisnow as one of Boston’s “Most Powerful Women in Real Estate” and winner of the 2016 PRISM Award for Marketing Professional of the Year, is the true definition of an entrepreneurial businesswoman. Having earned The Nashua Telegraph’s 91 Progress’ Entrepreneur of the Year at 17 years old, Lisa is now the CEO and founder of Nickerson PR, an award-winning full-service communications agency that offers an integrated blend of public relations, social media, digital content, creative services, and events expertise. In June of 2018, Lisa was featured on Chronicle as Greater Boston’s Real Estate Expert.
Lisa is a multiple-industry award winner, a well-respected, sought-after speaker and moderator, and a devotee of professional and community service. Lisa is an active member of ULI | New England’s Advisory Board, ULI Women Leadership Institute Co-Chair and Communications Chair, American Marketing Association, Board Member & VP of Sponsorship, Boston Women in Media & Entertainment Board Member, former SIOR New England Board Member & Communications Chair, and a member of NAIOP and CREW.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College in Marketing and Finance. She maintains her Massachusetts Real Estate License and is currently completing her Master of Business Administration at Babson College.
She received her Real Estate Certificate from Boston University. She resides in Wayland, MA, and is a proud mother of three outstanding teenagers – her two sons are highly decorated Eagle Scouts and her daughter is a competitive gymnast.
Real estate industry veteran Debbi Griffin serves as Director of Operations. Debbi returned to the Nickerson team this year with over 15 years of varied real estate experience, including Senior-level property management of luxury rental and condominium communities, directorship of award-winning residential sales sites, management of sales teams, rentals and lease-ups, budget management, project branding and marketing, and transitional management. Additionally, she has directed sales projects that include union laborers and some that have simultaneously utilized both union and non-union labor. Recognizing that the close relationships among all team members on developments are the basis for project success, she has successfully managed communication necessary to achieve project goals and maintain smooth operations through project completion.
Debbi previously held positions with Peabody Properties (PPI), Avalon Bay Communities and Nickerson PR, Marketing & Events, Inc. Her most notable projects include successfully managing the rehabilitation of 800 units at Avalon Bay Communities at the Prudential Center and serving as the Senior Project Manager at PPI for the redevelopment, new construction and sales of The Waterworks at Chestnut Hill, the award-winning condominium residences.
Debbi additionally served as Community Manager at Avalon Bay Communities property Avalon Ledges, where she oversaw new construction and lease-up of the over 300-unit community. She brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience acumen to the ever-changing Boston real estate market trends and beyond.
In early 2017, Debbi hiked 1,800 miles of the Appalachian Trail as a fundraising effort for the Alzheimer’s Association’s event ‘The Longest Day’ in memory of her parents. The year before she hiked 450 miles. Each of her trail adventures was a solo endeavor. Her fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association is in excess of $10,000. She is step-mother to 3 young adults and a wife.
Award winning Graphic Designer and Creative Director, Domingo Echague, has been part of Nickerson PR since 2015 when he joined the firm having recently relocated from Miami. His expertise ranges from corporate branding and advertising to marketing communications and website design. With over 10 years of multidisciplinary experience, Domingo has worked with big brands such as Johnnie Walker, Captain Morgan, Buchanan’s, Jose Cuervo, Heineken, Mastercard, Nokia, Samsung, University of Miami, Hertz, Lincoln, and many others.
His creative endeavors began in the wireless communications industry having fully designed and managed trade shows in partnership with Nokia and Samsung. He then worked at a promotional and marketing agency where, amongst various print and digital projects, he conceptualized, designed and oversaw construction for a Johnnie Walker bar built at the VC Bird International Airport which is the largest of Antigua and Barbuda’s three airports. More recently, at Nickerson PR, Domingo’s design work has received many PRISM Awards including Gold Best Print Brochure, Gold Best Video, Gold Best Website, Gold Best Logo of the Year Builder, and Gold Best Ad Builder.
Domingo received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication: Advertising and Minor in Social Media & E-Marketing at the Florida International University with Summa Cum Laude recognition and Certificate of Merit Scholarship. He is an active member of the recognized professional association for design AIGA and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Boston/New England Chapter. He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and moved to Miami at age 14. He’s happily married and is the father of a lovely 2-year-old Wheaten Terrier named Mia.
