The Batch Yard, is a 328-unit luxury rental apartment community located in Everett, MA, where residents live in style in a bustling city just three miles from Downtown Boston. Nickerson was tasked with helping The Batch Yard to complete its lease up, as well as set it apart within the luxury apartment community. Wanting to take advantage of the unique dazzling artwork, finishes, abundant reclaimed wood, handmade metalwork, and furniture created by well-known New England artists and craftspeople, Nickerson worked to create an event showcasing the property while exposing it to a new audience.
Coming out of a historic winter, challenged by the location of the property, and facing ongoing local construction, Nickerson utilized its extensive knowledge of the greater Boston area, local real estate market, and events expertise to set The Batch Yard apart.
Nickerson worked with the Batch Yard and its extensive team of artists, architects, and craftsmen to create an event for Boston Design Week, an annual festival of design events exploring interior design, architecture, urban design, fashion, product and graphic design and more. By participating in the two-week long fest, Nickerson not only exposed the property to a new community with a strong appreciation for the craftsmanship that went in to creating the space, but also set the property apart as elite amongst the Boston market.
Traffic and tours to the property nearly doubled over the month leading up to the event, jumping from 60 tours in February to 119 in March. More impressively, and importantly, leasing activity increased by a resounding 259%, going from 22 leases in February to 79 in March.
